The cardinals lost last night to the Brewers 4-2. Now the series is 2-2. The Cardinals are playing tonight again too, they have to win two more games to win because it's the best of 7 series.The Cardinals power hitter Albert Pujols need to help the cardinals win tonight. Tonight it is Garcia vs Greinke in the piching match up, hope they can win tonight.

This quarter in computer class i learned a lot but i think what helped me the most was learning to type the correct way and getting a lot faster at typing. I also think that was my favorite part about the class. I also learned all the parts of a computer. I think the part that I didn't like was the part where we had to do all of the Microsoft word projects. I also learned all about blogs and how to use them. It was a really fun class but you have to stay on topic and do your work. Overall it was a good class.

Yes, it should be mandatory because America is getting to where they need to exercises more anyway just because kids are staying inside and playing video games more than going outside and playing. So, i think that if they have a class like this during school it will keep them active and they might do sometime in P.E. that they like and it could get them interested in maybe a new sport or hobby. It also teaches you different exercises that you can do at home to stay in shape. Also, if it was not mandatory i don't think many kids would take it and i think that P.E. is a class everybody should do.It will keep us more active and give kids more freedom during the school day.

The Cardinanls got into the wild card place last night after they beat the Astros 8-0 thanks to Chris Carpenter who pitched a complete game shutout. The Braves also lost to the Phillies in the 13th inning thanks to Hunter Pence hitting a game winning RBI single. Which put the Cardinals one game ahead which means they are going to the playoffs for the first time in a couple of years. In the first round of the playoffs they have to face the Phillies which is a very good team but we are 6-3 against them this yet. Its going to be an interesting set of games but i think the Cards can beat them.

If i had a hundred dollars, then i would give it to a homeless shelter so that way the kids who don't have much can maybe have a gift or a toy to play with since they're less fortunate and they don't have nearly as much as us. I think that it could really make a difference in a young kids life. It would also make the world a better place if everybody could make a donation to somewhere they thought needed it. But that's what i would do if i had $100.

The cardinals have been on a winning streak lately. They might have a chance at the playoffs, they are one and a half games out off the wild card spot if we keep winning and the Braves keep losing then we could get to the playoffs. Albert Pujols has been hitting lately trying to get to a 300 B.A. and he did it a couple of nights ago and now for the 11th straight year he has hit more then a 100 RBIs and 30 Home runs and a 300 B.A. He will be a big bat in the lineup if we make it to the playoffs.

If we all helped each other like in Rachael's challenge then maybe we could all be nicer and make the world a better place. Even if you don't help out somebody with something big sometimes the little things can help like picking up a book in the hallway or just saying thank you can go a long way. So if you just do something little it could change a persons day. So if we all help out together we could make the world a better place!

Cross Country

Festus is having a meet at West City Park on Saturday. There are going to be a lot of teams there; We are trying to get first because its our only home meet this year. Its going to be fun for everyone. We hope there is a lot of people there.

I don't really remember anything about that day, but i know what happened now that I'm older. I know two planes crashed into the side of the twin towers in new york. The first plane hit and everybody didn't know if it was an accident or what then the second plane hit and everybody knew that now we were under attack. There were people jumping out of the side of the buildings just so they wouldn't burn alive. The side of the Pentagon also got hit, they were going to hit Washington D.C. too but the passengers that were on the plane took it back over and landed it before it hit it. That's what i remember about 9/11.

I'm into a lot of sports , i run for the cross country team. I'm also going to try out for basketball this November. I am from a big family and I'm the youngest, i have three brothers and one sister. My favorite thing to do and watch is sports all the time. I also like to go knee boarding out at the lake of the Ozarks, since we go every summer. This quarter I have learned many things. One thing I learned is how to blog. Another thing that I learned is how to cite pictures and other things. Something I really liked about this class is the big projects we do. I enjoy that because it gives everyone a chance to be creative and use their own design. Lastly, I would have to change how many big projects the class receives. It's like one project after another. Some people can't work as quickly as others, but it is your class. These were some things I learned, some things I liked, and one thing I would really like to change.

Summer

This summer I am going to Michigan. I am going to Michigan because I had neighbors that were like family to me, but the father got laid off and moved away so he could try to find a job by his family. It's upsetting for me because I miss them. The family was Stacie, the mother, Craig, the father, and Abbie,their one year old daughter. I cant wait to see them this summer!

Being Successful

I think that working hard is going to make you more successful than being smart. If you work hard enough, the smarts will follow with common sense. I'm a pitcher for softball, so the harder you work the easier it is understand  and learn all the steps and rules, the smarts will quickly  follow. As a result of working hard I have accomplish being a accurate pitcher for my team. This is why working hard is more important than being smart.

Hey! I have been sick for two days. I came back to school today May 5, 2011. I was at home for two days with a swollen gland under my chin. Since I have been sick, I missed out on many new things at school that I will need to get caught up on. Also, I have missed two my softball games from being sick. Oh well, I'm better now!

Ice Cream

There are many differnt flavors of ice cream.For example theres strawberry, chocolate, rocky road and lots more! My favorite flavor of ice cream is strawberry. I like strawberry ice cream because most of the time its rich, creamy and yummy, I also enjoy eatting birthday cake ice cream with my friends. Those are my favorite kinds of ice cream!

The first broadcast weather report was made by radio station WEW in St. Louis, Mo, 1921. I couldn't imagine the world without television or computers because that how i figure out about the weather. If I didn't know when the weather was coming, I could go out in tornado warnings and not know it. If I wanted to know when the weather was coming, I would have to buy a news paper. If I didn't know when the bad/good weather was coming it could interfere with my plans.

Hello. My name is Kacie. I love to play softball, football, wiffle ball, and lots more! When I play softball, I pitch. I play softball out of Antonio.When I play football, I don't play on a team, I play it with my friends in the road. We play two hand touch football,which means nobody can be tackled. When I play wiffle ball , I play in my backyard (Herky Wiffle ball Association) . I play that with my friends to. My brother and his friend made a rule book for the wiffle ball games we play. Sometimes though my brother changes the rules to fit him,but oh well. This is just some of the things that you should know about me, I hope to share more later!
