The Cardinanls got into the wild card place last night after they beat the Astros 8-0 thanks to Chris Carpenter who pitched a complete game shutout. The Braves also lost to the Phillies in the 13th inning thanks to Hunter Pence hitting a game winning RBI single. Which put the Cardinals one game ahead which means they are going to the playoffs for the first time in a couple of years. In the first round of the playoffs they have to face the Phillies which is a very good team but we are 6-3 against them this yet. Its going to be an interesting set of games but i think the Cards can beat them.

If i had a hundred dollars, then i would give it to a homeless shelter so that way the kids who don't have much can maybe have a gift or a toy to play with since they're less fortunate and they don't have nearly as much as us. I think that it could really make a difference in a young kids life. It would also make the world a better place if everybody could make a donation to somewhere they thought needed it. But that's what i would do if i had $100.

St. Louis Cardinals

The cardinals have been on a winning streak lately. They might have a chance at the playoffs, they are one and a half games out off the wild card spot if we keep winning and the Braves keep losing then we could get to the playoffs. Albert Pujols has been hitting lately trying to get to a 300 B.A. and he did it a couple of nights ago and now for the 11th straight year he has hit more then a 100 RBIs and 30 Home runs and a 300 B.A. He will be a big bat in the lineup if we make it to the playoffs.

Helping

If we all helped each other like in Rachael's challenge then maybe we could all be nicer and make the world a better place. Even if you don't help out somebody with something big sometimes the little things can help like picking up a book in the hallway or just saying thank you can go a long way. So if you just do something little it could change a persons day. So if we all help out together we could make the world a better place!

Cross Country

Festus is having a meet at West City Park on Saturday. There are going to be a lot of teams there; We are trying to get first because its our only home meet this year. Its going to be fun for everyone. We hope there is a lot of people there.

9/11

I don't really remember anything about that day, but i know what happened now that I'm older. I know two planes crashed into the side of the twin towers in new york. The first plane hit and everybody didn't know if it was an accident or what then the second plane hit and everybody knew that now we were under attack. There were people jumping out of the side of the buildings just so they wouldn't burn alive. The side of the Pentagon also got hit, they were going to hit Washington D.C. too but the passengers that were on the plane took it back over and landed it before it hit it. That's what i remember about 9/11.

I'm into a lot of sports , i run for the cross country team. I'm also going to try out for basketball this November. I am from a big family and I'm the youngest, i have three brothers and one sister. My favorite thing to do and watch is sports all the time. I also like to go knee boarding out at the lake of the Ozarks, since we go every summer. Also i go to two different houses because my parents are divorced. So that's  just a little bit about me.
