Kid Nation ep.5

In-Group -  Taylor and a few other girls from the yellow group continue to slack off of their job and sleep in. These girls believe that they are above everyone else however everyone else believes that these girls are at a equal playing field. There was then a reelection and a lot of people were against Taylor being a leader for Bonanza city anymore. Taylor has continually showed slack during this whole period. Hopefully Taylor gets voted out to be a council member so bonanza will run better.

Conflict- Since the town is having a reelection a person from each group is running against their leader. All of the people who are running against their leader have given a speech and the speeches have caused conflicts between the groups. Taylor still getting a chance to be elected has caused conflicts too, for example a boy from red district tore down one of Taylor's posters in rage of Taylor being a bad leader. Many believe that these conflicts are ruining the town. However, Taylor not being elected has caused less conflicts.

Group Boundary - The pay that the pioneers receive divides the groups up. For example the upper class gets $1.00 a day and the laborers only get 10 cents a day. This causes differences not only financial but it also causes people to think they are better than the group just because of their pay. The upper class is most likely entitled to think this then the lower classes. Another group boundary is popularity, some pioneers think they are better because of their popularity instead of how they are participating in running the town.
